Nadchodząca edycja, została przełożona z czerwca 2020 roku, kiedy to globalna pandemia zatrzymała przemysł muzyczny. Headlinerami tegorocznego festiwalu są legendarni: Van Morrison, najnowszy projekt Roberta Planta: Robert Plant’s Saving Grace with Suzi Dian, Imelda May oraz wschodząca Gwiazda UK Americana – Jade Bird. Black Deer Festival to nie tylko muzyka, to styl życia. Festiwal jest przyjazny dla całej rodziny, najmłodsi znajdą wiele specjalnie przygotowanych dla nich atrakcji, a dorośli będą mogli podziwiać roadhouse pełen customowych motocykli oraz trucków. Uważajcie, możliwe, że zakup jednego z tych cudeniek po festiwalu stanie się nieunikniony! Lokalizacja Festiwalu

Black Deer Festival odbywa się w jednym z najstarszych parków z rezerwatem jeleni w Wielkiej Brytanii – Eridge Park, w Kent. Lokalizacja znajduje się zaledwie 40 minut pociągiem od Londynu (stacja Royal Tunbridge Wells Station). Festiwal zapewnia także możliwość wykupienia miejsc parkingowych dla zmotoryzowanych. Eridge Park może stanowić punkt wypadowy do spacerów oraz podziwiania natury przy dźwiękach dobrej muzyki. Przecież zarówno Americana jak i country są gatunkami głęboko zakorzenionymi w naturze oraz otwartymi przestrzeniami. Black Deer Festival will be leading UK back into the post-covid music season.

Is it possible to organize a festival in a safe way in the middle of covid vaccination season? Yes, it is! You can also have a pretty good bill and organise it at one of the most picturesque parks in Kent. Here it is to the 2021 edition of the Black Deer Festival!

“We’re very excited to be able to push our plans, bring together our beloved community for a 2021 edition of Black Deer and deliver one hell of a (safe!) summer party. The UK live music industry has been hit hard and we feel it is so important to support our artists, their teams and the wider festival community at the earliest opportunity. It’s not going to be easy, but we’re doing everything we can to make Black Deer Festival 2021 one to remember!”

So, what exactly is Black Deer Festival?

Black Deer Festival is a UK based Americana and country festival. Current edition has been postponed from June 2020,  when pandemic stopped the music industry, and it is full of music delights and surprises. The festival is headlined by legendary Belfast Cowboy Van Morrison, Robert Plant’s latest collaboration Saving Grace with Suzi Dian, Irish roots superstar singer and songwriter Imelda May and emerging UK Americana artist Jade Bird.They will be joined by 1968, Dylan Earl, Steve Smyth, Goad Ropper Rodeo Band, Police Dog Hogan, Irish Mythen among many more. The newest additions to an already-acclaimed 2021 line-up are Frank Turner & The Sleeping Souls, Ward Thomas, The London African Gospel Choir interpreting Paul Simon’s Graceland on its 35th anniversary, Talisk, Emily Barker and Lady Nade.

But Black Deer Festival is not only music. It is a family-friendly place with special attractions for little ones as well as the epic roadhouse corner for bigger ones. Children get the opportunity to learn, play and engage in true americana style. The roadhouse offers the possibility to dive into the world of American custom bikes and trucks. Be aware! You may end up buying one from one of the wonderful vendors. It is also a musty be place for all the foodies, “Live Fire” and plenty other options with excellent chefs and fabulous Gospel Lunch on Deer Sunday which you simply cannot miss. Location Black Deer Festival is set in the grounds of one of the oldest British deer parks – Eridge Park, located in Kent, just about 40 minutes by train from London (the station is Royal Tunbridge Wells Station). If you decide to use the car, the festival offers parking spaces. The location enables you taking a break and connect with nature and music on a deeper level. Thus, both Americana and country genres are deeply rooted into the wide wild open. Festival is very thankful to this special venue, accepting it at its gates, yet another year.
